Hi All!
Back today with another card. This time I used the little sailor image of Tilda from Magnolia.
I coloured Tilda in using my Promarkers and cut her out. I then decided to make an easel card and fished out my Labels Ten dies to create the shape. I layered the card up with a tan embossed card, gold card and paper from My Mind's Eye 'The Sweetest Thing' pad.
To embellish it I made some dinky flowers using my punches, added pearl centres and a little sentiment that I could use as the easel card stopper. I was trying out a different colour scheme for me as just lately I keeping pulling out my reds and greens...think I'm still in Christmas mode! LOL!!
Anyway, hope you like it.
Thanks for looking!
Best wishes Karen x

Snow Much Love
Back with another quick post using my first ever digi image from Sassy Cheryl. This cute one is called Snow Much Love and I coloured it with my Promarkers. Along with the Go Kreate dies in the last post, I also bought a second set - Frilly # 9 which I used to create this card.
I used a combination of red and white cardstock teamed with papers from the Bazzill Nordic Pines pack. I layered the image up on various circles cut with punches and my Spellbinders dies, added a sentiment, ribbon and punched snowflakes topped with pearls, before decorating inside to match.
Hope you like it - my photography is not great at this time in the evening - lots of shadows.
Anyhoo...would like to enter it into:
Sassy Cheryl Challenge - Use Pearls

Winter Ragged Angel
Afternoon Everyone!
Today I'd like to share a card I made using a new set of dies I ordered with my Christmas money - Go Kreate's XXL Frilly Frames #3. I used these lovely shapes to create an easel card. The image I chose was Ragged Angel from Mo Manning's Digital Pencil which I coloured using my Spectrum Noirs.
I love wintry themed cards so decided to make a Christmas card this time and used papers from an old Forever Friends festive pad, layered onto red cardstock.
For embellishments I added gingham ribbon, punched snowflakes covered in Stickles and highlighted with gems. Inside I added a small panel to write a message, punched with a Martha Stewart snowflake border punch, topped with a little sentiment.
Anyway, hope you like this card. I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:
Mo's Digital Pencil - Lots of Layers
Crafty Creations - Seasonal (Winter)
Creative Inspirations - Ribbon
Sparkles Christmas Challenge - More than one fold
Cards Galore Encore - Anything Goes (2nd Entry)
Sparkles Monthly Challenge - New Stash (Digi and dies)
Heck of a Challenge - New (New stash - digi and dies)

Brambly Mouse
Morning All!
Today I'd like to share a card that I made using a cute Brambly Hedge image from Crafter's Companion. I used
The blue and lemon paper was from an old stash of Anna Griffin papers, layered onto white and shimmery blue cardstock. I die cut a little oval mat and cut out the image to make it pop from the page. The card is only dinky 4 x 6 inches, but I think its nice to sometimes vary the card size you work on.
To finish I added a sentiment, pearls and some lace accents before decorating inside to match.
Hope you like it, I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - So Sweet
Totally Gorjuss - Lace and pearls
Back soon...thanks for looking!

Mad as a Hatter!
Just popping back with a second card I've made...this time using the fab Mad Hatter image from Mo Manning's Digital Pencil.
This time I coloured him with my Promarkers. I love colouring and can't get enough of tutorials, etc, no matter what brand of pen they are using! I'm addicted!!
Anyhoo...I tried...really hard...LOL! to create a man's card using shades of greys, blues and oranges and very little in the way of embellishments. The papers were from the 'Swagger' pad by Fancy Pants and I punched a border directly into the papers using a zig zag punch from XCut. The sentiment is another Craftwork Cards little circle and the two pearls were coloured with my markers to match in.
Hope you like it - this is such a fun image that is bound to bring a smile to whoever you send it to, no matter what the colour scheme! I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:
Graph It - Anything Goes
Gem of a Challenge - One for the Boys
I love Promarkers - For the Boys
Simon Says Wed Challenge - Let's Have a Laugh
The Paper Shelter - Digi and a Sentiment
Best wishes and bye for now

Mulberry Wood
Hi All!
Back today with a card I made using the Mulberry Wood 'Birthday Wishes' stamp from Crafter's Companion. I love the Mulberry Wood images, very cute and really clear images when you stamp them.
I coloured the dog and cat with my Spectrum Noirs and layered the image onto a gold mat, cut using a Docrafts scalloped square die which I cut diagonally and added to opposite corners. The papers were actually from the '12 days of Christmas' pack from Papermania but I thought that this beige coloured sheet could be used all year round. I finished by adding another fab sentiment from Netty's Cards, gold Card Candi from Craftwork Cards, and two red heart buttons threaded with twine, tied into a bow.
Hope you like it. I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafters Companion - Hearts
Winter Wonderland - A dog is not just for Christmas
Moving Along with the Times - Cats
Allsorts - Buttons and Bows (Heart buttons, twine bows)

Emboss It!
Hi All!
Back with a quickie today - this time with a Christmas card using the Mo Manning Elf - Mim.
I coloured her in using a mix of my Spectrum Noirs and Promarkers and layered her up onto red and white card. The white card I embossed with a Swirly embossing folder and I added a little piece of Christmas foil card cut in a banner shape for a little accent. I'm trying to start building up a Christmas card stash, so this was an easy yet effective card to create.
Hope you like it. I'd like to enter it into the Simon Says Wednesday challenge which this week is to 'Emboss it' and also into the Creative Card Crew challenge and the Seems a Little Sketchy challenge which this week is a sketch.
Best wishes and bye for now

Celebrate with Cake!
Hi All!
I'm back with a little cross-over card today which I made with a new Gruffies stamp of a little bear eating more than his fair share of cake!
I went with a brown and pink colour scheme when colouring him in with my Spectrum Noir pens and then had trouble finding paper to match! In the end I dug out some Bo Bunny St Nick paper from way back which was the brown spotty paper - and teamed it with Anna Griffin pink check.
I used a favourite Martha Stewart doily border die to edge the diagonal areas of the card and also to edge the tag inside. The flowers were made using various flower punches topped with white pearls and the sentiment was from Craftwork Cards.
I added an organza bow to the tag to make it easy to pull out, stamped a sentiment on it from Waltzing Mouse stamps, before embellishing it with a little scattering of punched hearts to fill the 'white space' area.
Best wishes Karen x
PS - I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:
HMFMC161 - House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge - Use a stamp you have not used before.
A Little Bit Crafty - Celebrate
Gruffies and Guests - Anything Goes
TPE233 - Pink Elephant - 2 patterned papers, 1 punched border and a heart ( Bo Bunny and Anna Griffin paper, Martha Stewart punched border, heart embellishment on my sentiment)
Crafty Little Fairies - In the Kitchen

Ray of Sunshine
Hi All!
Back today with a card I made using the image of 'Mara' from Mo's Digital Pencil which today I coloured with my Promarkers.
I decided to go with bright, summery themes for this card and used oranges, hot pinks and yellows. The DP paper I used was from the Fancy Pants 'Hopscotch' pad which I matted onto orange and white card stock punched with an XCut border punch. I then added spotty pink ribbon, a little round sentiment from Craftwork Cards (love these - they are so handy), before finishing off with some glittery flowers topped with gems for a bit of bling!
Hope you like this little 'ray of sunshine' on a grey January day! I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - Warm It Up (Summery, hot colours)
Moving Along With The Times - Girly Cards
I Love Promarkers - Hot Colours

Mr Fixit
Hi Everyone!
A colleague at work asked me if I could make a card for her brother in law who has been helping with DIY jobs at her house, so she wanted a card with a bathroom (!) on it! Woo hoo! I thought, so this is what I came up with...and despite it being one of those much loved 'men's cards', I'm pretty pleased with it! Luckily, it also fits in with a few of the 'men's card' challenges that are running at the mo!
Anyhoo, the image (along with a picture of a bathroom) is the fab 'Mr Fixit' digi that I bought this week from Mo Manning's Digital Pencil. I coloured him with my Spectrum Noirs and then cut him out. I used some great paper in my new My Minds Eye 'Miss Caroline' pad - which looks like planks of wood - perfect for the DIY theme...and layered it up onto gold and brown card, before adding my bathroom picture and my Mr Fixit, popped up on Pinflair Gluegel. To finish off I added a sentiment - a fab freebie from Nettys Cards - and two little brads in the shape of a hammer and a saw. I then decorated the inside to match.
Hope you like my card. I'd like to enter it in the following challenges:
Mo Manning - Something New (My latest Mo Manning digi purchase and My Minds Eye Papers)
Charisma Cardz - It's a Boy Thing
Totally Gorjuss - Manly
Stamp and Show - Anything Goes

Pretty as a...Penguin!
Hi Again!
Back with my second post of the day...this time with a Christmas card using the lovely Penguin image from Mo Manning's Digital Pencil. I coloured him in using my Spectrum Noirs and this time set myself the challenge of mastering my grey colours - a bit tricky but I am pleased with how this little penguin turned out.
The papers I used were a magazine freebie, but because the image is so good, I wanted to concentrate on it and decided against lots of embellishments...instead I went for lots of layers and created an ornate frame with the Spellbinders Adorning Squares die - hooking the little elements of the die cut around the edges of the image.
I finished with a sentiment and a couple of those 'good ole' gold Card Candi!
Hope you like this card - I can see him turning up on a few more Xmas cards in the future!
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Christmas Cards All Year - Anything Goes
ABC Christmas - A is for Anything
Spectrum Noir - Animals/Critters (second entry)
Inkychicks - Anything Goes

Little Boy Blue
Hi Everyone!
Yesterday I had some lovely news that I was one of the winners over at the House Mouse and Friends challenge - what a fab surprise - just wanted to say thanks to all the House Mousers!!
So...back with a card today using the fab Mo Manning image 'Spit Happens'. Trouble is, this little baby seems to look like a mucky little baby now that I've photographed him. Somehow, his face seems blotchy and his T-shirt looks like it needs a good scrub. The light here this afternoon is miserable and grey, and even after photographing him on the windowsill, he still looks like he needs a wash...so sorry about that! LOL!
Anyhoo, I coloured this little fella in my Spectrum Noirs and matted him onto Papermania's Kraft Note papers. I used an aqua blue velvet ribbon to tie in with some of the ribbon challenges that are running this week, and created punched flowers to tie in with Digital Pencil's 'With Flowers' theme. I also added a punched border using my Martha Stewart punch.
I'd like to enter it in the following challenges:
Mo Manning Digital Pencil - With Flowers
Allsorts - Ribbon but No Bows

Welcoming the New Year
Afternoon Everyone!
Today, I decided to make an easel card as I've not made one for a long time. I dug out one of my fab Penny Black stamps feature one of the cats and a mouse celebrating with a bottle of champagne. I coloured it in using my Twinkling H2Os and added a little shimmer with my gel pen.
I wanted to make the card quite bright and jolly so used Echo Park's lovely 'Off the Record' papers matted onto black card stock. I added a strip of red stripy washi tape along the card fold for decoration, added an XCut punched border, red gems, and a Lili of the Valley stamped sentiment.
This image is great for all kinds of celebrations - so I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:
Penny Black Saturday - 'New' (New Year)
Ali-Craft - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes 'New' (New Year)
Crafty Creations - A Card featuring 'Something to Drink'
Hope you like my card!

Bear Necessities
Hi All!
Today I want to share a card I made using one of the older Lili of the Valley stamps called Bear and Butterflies.
I made the card using some embossed navy cardstock which has a hint of gold in it and created layers using stripy DCWV paper and blue hearts paper from Trimcraft matted onto gold holographic card. I coloured the image with my Promarkers before adding a sentiment and Candi from Craftwork Cards. I seem to be a bit addicted to the gold Candi at the moment so I will have to try and wean myself off it LOL!
I also decorated the inside to match and used a sentiment stamp from Waltzing Mouse.
Anyhoo, I'd like to enter this card in the Winter Wonderland Challenge which this week is to use 'Bears/Teddy Bears', the Lili of the Valley 'Anything Goes' challenge, and the Crafty Cardmaker's 'Bear with Me' challenge.
Many thanks for popping by!
Best wishes

Mad as a Hatter!
Afternoon Everyone!
I'm back to share a card I made using the brilliant 'Hatter' image by Mo Manning. I decided to go with a pink and green colour theme for a change today, hoping that this would look cheery and bright on such a grey and dismal day!
I teamed it with matching papers from Hot off the Press and a green polka dot ribbon, Martha Stewart punched border, gems and computer printed sentiment. As I printed the image quite large and coloured it with my Spectrum Noir markers, I thought it didn't need a great deal of embellishments and preferred to let the fab artwork speak for itself.
Anyhoo, hope you like it!
I would like to enter it into the Mo's Digital Pencil 'Anything Goes' challenge, the Cute Card Thursday Challenge which is to 'Banish the Blues' and show a bit of humour, as well as the 'Anything Goes' challenge at Cards Galore Encore, the 'Free and Easy' Challenge at Allsorts and the 'Birthday' challenge at Charisma Cardz.

House Mouse - Silver or Gold for Challenge HMFMC160
Morning All!
Today I'm back with a quick post to share the card I have made for this month's House Mouse and Friends Challenge which is to use Silver or Gold on your card.
I decided to have a change from making a Christmas card and instead went for spring colours. I used the fab image of the mice with bubblegum machine and coloured them with my Spectrum Noir pens in shades to match the Forever Friends Kraft Notes papers that I bought with my Christmas money. I then matted all the elements onto gold mirri card, added a gold sentiment and gold Card Candi before finishing with a rustic string bow and an 'old gold' coloured heart charm.
Hope you like my card. Why not pop over and join in with the challenge which runs until the 11th of January.
Thanks for looking!

Popcorn The Bear
Happy New Year Everyone!
Hope you had a great night whether you were out partying or sat in front of the TV with your feet up! Here's to a happy and healthy year ahead!
I'm back today with a card I made just in time for the Crafter's Companion challenge which is 'One More Ribbon'. I used a Popcorn the bear image which I coloured with my new best friends - my Spectrum Noirs - and matted him onto red cardstock edged with a Martha Stewart punch.
The papers are old ones from Helz Cuppleditch called 'Bazoo' which I thought matched Popcorn's fur perfectly. To fit the challenge I added red check ribbon and a ribbon bow, before adding a sentiment from Craftwork Cards and pearls which I coloured to match with the DR Spectrum Noirs.
I would also like to enter my card into the ABC Challenge which this week is 'C for Colourful'.
Anyhoo...hope you like it!
Thanks for looking!

Bye for now
