Poinsettia Pop Up

Morning All!
I hope you are managing to stay safe in this wild and windy weather!
Today I'd like to share a card using the lovely Luxury Christmas card from Crafter's Companion. I decided to make a pop up box card on my Ultimate Pro and add some Die'sire Poinsettias - perfect for this time of year!

I love to have a real poinsettia in the house at Christmas as part of my decorations, but if you made one of these cards it would be ideal to give to someone who is unfortunately in hospital over the holidays so that they can feel a little bit festive too!
Hope you like it!
Bye for now

Stack Em Up

If you're looking for something to pop small Christmas prezzies in, why not use the Slip Case box technique from the Crafter's Companion Ultimate Pro DVDs. I made three in different sizes and stacked them one on top of the other before decorating with a poinsettia  - made from the Die'sire Poinsettia die, a sentiment and some ribbon. The card used is the lovely Luxury Christmas A3 range.
Hope you like it! xx

Winter Gathering

Morning All!
Just thought I'd share four items I made with the 'Winter Gathering' set from Hunkydory's Christmas Craftinator. I managed to make a stepper card, DL card, easel card and little gift box - all the insides are decorated too!

Hope you like them - I really enjoyed making them!
Best wishes

Patchwork Pals

Well you know what its like when you have a big stash of crafty goodies - you sometimes forget what you've got. So today I decided to get out one of my old favourite Hunkydory kits and make a card.
Return to Patchwork Forest is full of lovely images and characters so I really enjoyed making this. Hope you like it.
Thanks for looking x

Moonbeam Meadow Accordion

Afternoon All. Just popped by to share an accordion card I made with the new overlays from the lovely peeps at Crafter's Companion UK. This time I used Filigree Circle and teamed it up with some Wild Briar die cuts from Sheena Dot Douglass and Moonbeam Meadow Paperkit. Hope you like it xx

Pretty Post Its

Hi All!
On the run up to Christmas I love making little Post It Note holders as Stocking fillers, but they are ideal for little prezzies at any time of year. This time I've made some using Hunkydory's Smudge and Mitten kit so I thought I'd share a photo of a couple of them below and a tutorial of how to make some yourself.
I'd like to enter them into the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly Challenge which is Anything Goes (a gift for Christmas)
ABC Challenge - U is for Unlimited (Anything Goes)
Cute Card Thursday - Food and Drink (Mitten Baking)

All bagged up and ready for gifts, or for sale...

These Post It Note Holders and attached pens make great stocking fillers, or bag them up to sell at Craft Fayres or Charity Events – a great way to use up you leftover toppers and patterned papers!

Step 1

Cut a piece of Core’dinations card or double sided cardstock to 7 3/8 x 3 ¼ inches. Along the long side - score at 3 1/8, 3 ½ and 3 7/8. Fold on the middle score line, roughly find the centre and make two cuts to the outer score lines – making a one inch wide section. This will make the holder for your pen.

Step 2
Lay your cardstock flat and where the three score lines run vertically, place two small pieces of red line tap between the 3 ½ and 3 7/8 measures. DO NOT put tape all the way down or you will seal up your pen holder!

Step 3
Take the backing off the tape, fold the cardstock over and adhere the scored section to the back cover.

Step 4
When you look at your Post It Note Holder from the outside, the pen holder section will stand proud.

Step 5
Adhere a Post It Note pad to the back cover, add a small Gel Pen (Available in local discount stores very cheaply) and decorate.

Step 6
For a professional finish, pop into 6x4 cello bags and label ready to sell or give to charity.
