Roses are Red

Afternoon All!
Today I wanted to share a patchwork style card that I have made using papers from the Echo Park 'For the Record' pad. I went for an 8x8 inch card so that I had plenty of room to show off the designs and then stamped flowers onto the red and green papers and made them into flower embellishments. These I arranged in a floral wreath design and before adding buttons for centres.
I finished the layout with a little sentiment before creating a similar patchwork design inside the card with room for writing a greeting created using a Spellbinders Lacey circle die. I'm enjoying making patchwork style cards at the mo and am trawling the internet for new crafty ideas and inspiration.
Anyway, hope you like it. I'd like to enter it in the By the Cute and Girly challenge which is 'Roses are Red' and the Totally Papercrafts 'Make Your Own Embellishments' challenge.
Thanks for looking and bye for now Karen x
