Afternoon All!
Today I'd like to share a Clean and Simple card using the Mo Manning image called Georgia. This is such a pretty digi stamp and I really enjoyed colouring her in with my Spectrum Noirs.
I decided to go with fresh spring colours of yellows and greens and embellished the card with ribbon, a heart charm and a sentiment printed from my computer.
Hope you like this 'happy' card. I'd like to enter it in the following challenges:
Mo Manning - Add Ribbon
Totally Papercrafts - Spring
Allsorts - Ladies Day (great for a female birthday card)
Charizma - Inspired by a Movie title - The Sound of Music
Thanks for looking!

Frosty and Festive
Hi All!
Back with a quick post as I have been away for a few days this week so am a bit behind with posting but have plenty of projects to show you in the next few days. First up is a Christmas card I created to add to my Christmas stash in the hope that I have some festive cards ready when December comes!
I made this with a Spellbinders lacey die and placed the triangular die cuts side by side to create a square. The vintage image and background papers are from and old stash of Kaisercraft papers and I matted them onto silver holographic card for a bit of sparkle. I then popped on a band of organza ribbon before adding punched snowflakes, gems and a sentiment.
Hope you like this frosty looking monotone card. I'd like to enter it in the following challenges:
Winter Wonderland - The Most Wonderful Time of the Year
ABC Christmas - D is for Diecuts
The Paper Shelter - Punches and Dies
Daring Cardmakers - Old but not forgotton (Kaisercraft papers and image)
Best wishes

Sweet Blossom
Hi All!
Back today with my latest card using a lovely stamp image from Sylvia Zet's 'Wee Stamps' called 'Sweet Blossom'. I coloured this little fairy and her pet mouse (at least I think it's a mouse!) in with my Promarkers and tried to get a soft feel to the colour scheme.
The papers I used were from Kaisercraft's 'Sweet Admirer' collection. I cut into one sheet and rearranged the flower pattern where I wanted it to be and then stuck it back together and layered it up on pinky peach, white and silver card.
For embellishment I added lace, a heart shaped charm and some punched flowers with pearl centres. I decided on a general 'love' theme that could apply to a female family member or simply to a friend, and cut the word 'love' from the papers, layering it up and adding Glossy Accents. I then used a similar sentiment to decorate inside.
A Sylvia Zet fairy stamp would not be complete without a bit of Stickles so I added that too!
Anyway, hope you like my card. I'd like to enter it in the following challenges:
Graph It - Floral/Love
Sparkles Monthly - Ribbon/Lace, Hearts and Pearls (I used lace, pearls and a heart charm)
Whimsy Challenge - Love is in the Air
Passion for Promarkers - Have a Heart (Heart charm and love theme)
Papertake Weekly - With a Heart
Thanks for looking!
Bye for now

A Heart for You
Is it me, or when you consciously set out to do a Clean and Simple card, it can be pretty hard work! LOL!
I ended up taking off more than I put on! Anyhoo, today's card is my attempt at Clean and Simple. No designer papers, no gems, no pearls, no flowers and no candi. I haven't even stamped an image or pulled out my alcohol markers!
Instead, I printed out an image from the Be Bunni Love collection and layered him up on red and silver cardstock, with one piece of white card run through an embossing folder to create a background. My minimal embellishment was a piece of gingham ribbon running alongside a punched border, topped off with a fab little sentiment from Netty's Cards.
And that's my card for today... I'm having withdrawals from colouring in already ha! ha!
Hope you like it...this style was quite a challenge for me, so I'd like to enter it into the following crafty challenges:
Crafter's Companion - Clean and Simple
Papertake Weekly - With a Heart
Creative Inspiration - Love
Paper Shelter - Be My Valentine
Creative Card Crew - Keep It Clean and Simple
Thanks for looking!
Best wishes

Dragon Hugs
I don't know about you, but sometimes I think it's nice to just make a card and let the image speak for itself without too many embellishments. That's what I decided to do with this latest card using the Mo Manning image 'Dragon Hugs'.
I love this little boy and his dragon and by making the image fairly large-ish, I could really set to work colouring it with my Spectrum Noirs.
I only used one sheet of blue check designer paper which I matted onto gold embossed card stock, added two little homemade 'photo corners' for a bit of extra detail, and a little sentiment.
I also decorated inside to match (can't seem to take a straight photo of this! LOL!) and hope this cute knight and his dragon fits as a masculine card!
Anyhoo, hope you like it! I'm planning to enter it into the following challenges:
Spectrum Noir - Masculine
Graph It - Lovey Dovey
A Little Bit Crafty - Man Up
Crafty Cardmakers - It's a Man's World
Thanks for looking!

Just Because...
Hi All!
This is catch up Sunday, so here I am back with another quick post! This latest card was made using the lovely Ragged Romeo digi from Mo Manning.
This is catch up Sunday, so here I am back with another quick post! This latest card was made using the lovely Ragged Romeo digi from Mo Manning.
I know Valentines Day is nearly upon us but I decided to make a romantic 'love' card that could be used as a 'JUST BECAUSE...' you love someone card at any time of the year. It would also work well as a wedding or engagement card.
This cute couple were fun to colour in and I used my Spectrum Noirs for this image before cutting them out with my oval Spellbinders. The papers were from Kaisercraft's The Lake House collection, where I only actually used one sheet (very thrifty!) matted onto pink, white and silver card, before fussy cutting the leftover corner to use to decorate inside.
The 'Love' word is a Kaisercraft rub on and I added little flowers and pearls for embellishment.
I also added a tiny bit of Stickles to highlight the girl's hairband, the heart on her skirt and the flowers.
Hope you like this card. I'm hoping to enter it into the following challenges:

The Heart of the Garden
Today, I'm back with a card that's a bit different for me of late. A friend asked me for a 60th Birthday card for a lady who likes gardening...so I dug out my Jane Shasky Cd from Joanna Sheen and made the card below.
I stuck with a green/blue and brown theme and matted all the elements onto lattice embossed gold card to add a bit of shine. I thought the lattice embossing also went with the gardening theme.
I decided to decorate inside to match as the images on the CD are so nice, and simply added a computer generated sentiment and little green flower gems as embellishments. I also added a discreet '60' in peel offs to the plant pot!
Hope you like this latest creation. I'd like to enter it in the following challenges:
Charisma Cards - Peel Offs ( The 60 on the plant pot)

Lovey Dovey Mice
Afternoon All!
Today I'm back with a little card I made using a fab digi image from the House Mouse CD. I love the fact that there are few House Mouse digi's on that CD and I only wish that there were a few on the Gruffies and Happy Hoppers CD - I can't get enough of colouring these cute little characters in!
Anyhoo, after watching the fab Nicky from Polka Doodles on Create and Craft - I decided to splurge on 12 Graph It markers to give them a whirl alongside my Spectrums and Promarkers...and I must say, she is definitely right about the vibrancy of the colours. The dark pink on these little buds really stands out. Think I may be tempted for some more of them when I've saved up!
The papers I used were from Kaisercraft - the silver embossed from The Lake House and the dark pink from Secret Admirer. The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and I added gingham ribbon, a polka dot bow, a pearl gem and a heart shaped charm for a bit of embellishment. The inside is decorated to match - another wonky inside shot I'm afraid LOL!

Little Urchin
Morning All!
My card for today features 'one' (LOL!) of my favourite images from Mo Manning - Urchin with Bird. She is so pretty and lovely to colour in. This time I used my Spectrum Noirs and coloured her in shades of browns, reds, burgundy and greens.
Still raiding my stash I used chocolate brown coloured papers from old Forever Friends and Papermania christmas pads, then teamed this with a gold mat cut using a Marianne die and cut up so that I just used the top and bottom of the die cut.
I added a wee bit of Stickles, gems coloured with my alcohol markers to match, organza ribbon and a lovely little resin flower from The Ribbon Girl.
I then decorated the inside to match and popped my sentiment in here. I made this card as a Christmas card but I think you could also use it as a card for a winter birthday. Hope you like it!
Anyhoo, I'd like to enter it in the following challenges:
Mo Manning - Seeing Spots
Sparkles Christmas Challenge - Anything Goes and Blog hop
Cards Galore - Add a gem, glitter or candi (added gems and glitter)
My Mum's Craft Shop - Spots and Stripes (2nd entry)
ABC Christmas - Chocolate and Cream - (Chocolate brown papers and cream bow and resin flower)
Have a great day and I hope things don't get to windy and rainy for those suffering from terrible flooding here in Britain.
Best wishes

Playing Cat and Mouse
Hi All!
Can't believe I nearly forgot to post this card! In a mission to use up some of my older papers I fished out some of my Bo Bunny 'Persuasion' stash and teamed it with pink dotty paper mounted on burgundy card.
The little image is, of course, a fab Penny Black Cat and Mouse stamp which I coloured with my Promarkers. The bright pink doiley and little heart inside are from Kaisercraft's Sweet Admirer collection which provide great little accents for all sorts of cards and occasions.
To finish off I added two pink pearls and a sentiment from Craftwork Cards before decorating inside to match.
Sorry this last pic looks a bit wonky - bad camera work! LOL! I left it blank inside whilst I decide what greeting I want to pop in.
Hope you like this latest creation. I'm hoping to enter it in the following challenges:
I Love Promarkers - Love is in the Air
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - For Someone Special
Allsorts - Love is in the Air
My Mum's Craft Shop - Spots and Stripes
Passion for Promarkers - Spots and Stripes
Thanks fro stopping by!
Best wishes

Cup of Cocoa
Morning All!
I hope everyone is getting through this windy and rainy time we are having here in Britain - and the snows in other countries too! This morning I'd like to share a card that makes you feel like cosying up in the warmth, using a new digi stamp by Sassy Cheryl called 'A Cup of Cocoa'.
I decided to make an easel card and thought this would be a great image done in Christmassy colours for a winter birthday. As quite a few of my friends all have birthdays on the run up to Christmas, this will be a great card to add to my stash.
I used the Go Kreate Frilly 3 dies to make the shaped card and create the layers. The base is made from a very light Kraft coloured card which gives it a softer look. The green papers are from a Papermania Birdsong pad, and the red paper is from a Papermania Home for Christmas pad. The oval dies are Spellbinders.
I love this little image and think it would work just as well in pastel colours (you may see this idea popping up at later date LOL!). I used my Spectrum Noirs to colour the image in and added gems for embellishments. The 'With Love' message is from a stamp by Waltzing Mouse, whilst the little sentiment on the front was printed on my computer.
Anyhoo... hope you like this latest card. I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:
Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog - Don't be Square (create a shaped card)
Cute Card Thursday - Something New (Digi stamp)
Winter Wonderland - Digi Days
Best wishes
