Next Trip Tags

 Morning All!

Today I'm sharing some mixed media tags that I made to go on future prezzies. I've been dreaming of summer holidays so the paper pad I chose to use is Mintay's 'Next Trip', which has some great holiday themed images to fussy cut.

I die cut my tags from Kraft card then stamped some scripty writing and splodges in black ink from a Crafter's Companion Enchanted Dreams stamp before inking the edges of the tag and flicking them all over with white paint. I then backed the tags onto white card to make them stand out and added twine to act as a tie.

To finish I layered up my fussy cut images on foam pads, added a little bit of braid and a sentiment from a Hello Bluebird stamp which says 'Sending Sunshine'. I'm really pleased with them and think they would look great on both male and female presents.

Hope you like them :)

Winter Folio

 Hi Everyone!

You may remember that earlier in the month I shared a scrapbook layout using the two January pages from Graphic 45's Time to Flourish collection. Well I had lots of scraps, fussy cuts and cut aparts left over so I decided to create a little folio where I could pop all my photos that I have taken in January to highlight the month.

I really enjoyed making it and look forward to popping my memories inside.

Hope you like it!

Gone Fishing!

 Hi Gang!

Just thought I'd pop by to share my first masculine themed card of the year :)

It is a 5x7inch card and I used two Daisy Mae Stamp sets called 'Gone Fishing' and 'Messing about in Boats'. I went with turquoise blue and orange shades and coloured the images with my Spectrum Noir Pens, then decorated the inside to match.

Hope you like it :)

Winter Chic

 Afternoon Everyone!

Today I'm sharing a scrapbook layout I've completed to add in our Family History album. This is a photo of my lovely late Mother in Law looking very cute in her winter coat.

The papers used are from the fabulous Time to Flourish collection from Graphic 45, which I really enjoyed fussy cutting all the foliage elements from the January background paper to create the layout.

Hope you like it!

Snow Much Fun

 Hi Everyone!

Happy New Year! I can't believe how fast Christmas has come and gone, can you!?

I've decided to set myself a few crafty New Year's Resolutions and am hoping I'm going to stick to them lol!

  1. To stamp and Colour more as I really enjoy it.
  2. To blog and update my Instagram more to chart my makes.
  3. To try and do one scrapbook page a month featuring photos from my family history.
  4. After my poor show of handmade Christmas Cards this year, I'm hoping to make a one or two Christmas Cards a month to build up my stash.
  5. Try to make a few more masculine cards as I always run out of them for birthdays.
Fingers crossed - this is the plan :)

So, here are my first makes of the year using a stamp set called 'Snow Much Fun' from the Crafters Companion Winter Sale.

I coloured the images with my Spectrum Noir Triblends, and although I used the stamp set sentiment inside the card I used a sentiment from Conie Fong's 'Molly's Joy' on the outside. I used Gemini Stitched Circle Nesting dies for my front panel along with CC Fluttering Snowflakes Embossing Folder. The papers are Lawn Fawn's 'Perfectly Plaid.

I hope you like them - at least I now have two Christmas cards in my stash so I'm off and running lol :)
