Decadent Note Pads

Afternoon All!
Back today to share some little note pads that I made to sell at a recent Garden Party. I'm glad to say they went down a storm and were really easy and great fun to decorate.

I used images from the Hunkydory Decadent Moments and Glamourous Nights collections, decoupaging them to give dimension, and creating the base covers using black Adorable Scorable card. I didn't add gems as I thought they would make it bumpy, but instead added a bit of shine with gold and silver peel offs.

Anyway, hope you like them. They are approximately 5 1/2 x 4 inches in size.
Best wishes and bye for now

Jingle Bells

Morning All!
Just another quick post before I go out! I'm addicted to the Vintage Christmas Cd from Crafter's Companion at the mo, so this project is a 6x6 inch card created using fussy cut images from the postcard and embellishment sections and decoupaged to give dimension.

The lovely papers were also from the Cd and embossed using the Diesire Splendour Embossing Folder which I then edged with the gilding wax.

Hope you like this card, all the elements and sentiments work together really well making cardmaking really easy!

Best wishes and bye for now

Vintage Christmas Tag

Morning All!
Just thought I'd share a tag I made using the new Vintage Collection CD from Crafter's Companion. I LOVE this CD and all the little elements on it - especially as I love fussy cutting!

I printed off three of the papers, embossed them with the Diesire Embossing folder, distressed them and ripped the edges before layering them onto my tag and edging with gilding wax.

I then cut lots of little images and postcards and arranged them before adding ribbon, Stickles Glitter glue and Glossy Accents.

Anyway, hope you like it as much as I've enjoyed creating it! I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:

Best wishes and bye for now

A Winter Scene

Back with the second post of the day! This time with a Christmas card I made from the Hunkydory Craftinator! I love this winter scene of Santa going through the woods on his sleigh. I also love the fab background card that comes with this set, making Christmas cardmaking really easy!

Anyway, hope you like this one. I added gold mirror card as well as acetate to the front so that I could layer up the panels of the frame and add dimension.

Thanks for popping by! I would like to enter this into the Sparkles Christmas Challenge which this month is 'A Winter's Scene'.

Best wishes and bye for now

Summer Holiday

Hi All!
As the sun is out - and has been for a while now - I thought the challenge over at Daring Cardmakers would be fun to join in. This week the theme is 'We're All Going on a Summer Holiday', so below is my 'take' on that!

I love this little image from the Hobbies and Pastimes collection by Hunkydory, and had been asked to make a simple 'no fuss' card for a person who loves caravanning - so I thought this would be perfect.

With no frills or flowers, I made it into an easel card and simply added some Card Candi and a sentiment.

Hope you like it!
Best wishes

Birthday Party Wishes

Hi Everyone!
Back this morning with a card I made using one of the Patch and Puss images from the Lili of the Valley Art Pads. These pads are great for quick card making and I especially like the monotone look of this particular set which means you can team them with any colour.

For this card I used Kaisercraft 'Secret Admirer' papers and embellishments, Card Candi and a sentiment from Craftwork cards. I also decorated inside to match. The Happy Birthday stamp is from Waltzing Mouse - I love the font!
Anyway, thanks for popping by!

Bebunni Easel

Hi All.
On a roll with the Christmas cards so just thought I'd share another Bebunni Christmas card using the new CD from Crafter's Companion.

This time I made an easel card in non traditional colours using the Topper Companions on the CD. I mounted the papers on gold embossed card, added matching ribbon, gold glitter mosaic pieces, Stickles and tags, before adding a printed sentiment. The edge of the card is punched with a Martha Stewart 'Cherish' border punch.

Hope you like this card. I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:

Baby It's Cold Outside

Afternoon All!
Well, so much for the forecast rain here in North Wales - the sun is cracking the flags! Despite this sunny interval, I've still got a Christmassy card to share with you - this time featuring the cute Bebunni from Crafter's Companion.

The images I used were from the Card Companions on the CD, and along with the patterned paper, I made them into a stepper card. I then added ribbon, punched snowflakes, gems and a sentiment from the Bebunni stamp sets, before embellishing it with a poinsettia, again printed from the CD, cut out and glittered.

Anyway, hope you like this latest make. I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:

Say it with a Sentiment

Morning All!
Back with another post today to show you a card I made for the July Challenge over at Crafter's Companion.

This month, the challenge is to use a sentiment and I chose to use two of the fab quotes from the Sheena Douglass 'bird themed' stamp sheets. I accompanied these with a quirky little image of some birds on a branch, and went for a clean and simple look with a turquoise and white colour scheme.

The border die was a new (for me) Spellbinders Edgability that I picked up at the Great Northern Craft Fair in May. I also decorated the inside to match.

Anyway, hope you like it! Why not pop over to the CC Facebook page and join in with the fun!
Best wishes and bye for now
