Winter Wonderland

Hello all! This is a dinky little card that I made using the pack of six box cards in the Docraft's Christmas Creativity Goodie Bag. I covered the front with DCWV blue snow flake paper and added Stickles for snow. On the inside I added blue ink with a sponge to give a stippled effect, added cut out trees from Bo Bunny paper and a red peel off greeting. I then decorated the outside with more cut out trees. You could make this into a shaker card with punched snowflakes or beads inside. This was my intention but I was so eager to get my greeting centred that I stuck up the card without adding my shaker bits! Typical - oh well - you live and learn and I'll know better when I make the others!! ha! ha!

I'd like to enter this in the following challenges:
Winter Wonderland - Walking in Wonderland

Cute Card Thursday - No Dies or Punches

Bah Humbug - Winter Wonderland

Creative Inspirations - Christmas in August

  1. What a gorgeous card, I love, love it. I can't believe it was a plain box card. Fabulous papers and trees with a touch of stickles for snow. I know only to well about being eager to finish off a card only to discover an even better idea!!!! Your card is perfect for our challange.

Thank you so much for joining in our latest challange at Bah!Humbug!

  2. I like that term "dinky little card".....sometimes those are the best ones. I like to whip one up in under an hour sometimes. This is totally cute. Thanks for joining in at Creative Inspirations for our Christmas Challenge.

  3. Fabulous card and a sweet image. I had a wee giggle when reading you had got ahead of yourself and forgot to add the shaker - but to be honest it doesn't need it! Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
