Ship Ahoy Tilda

Hi All!
Back today with another card. This time I used the little sailor image of Tilda from Magnolia.

I coloured Tilda in using my Promarkers and cut her out. I then decided to make an easel card and fished out my Labels Ten dies to create the shape. I layered the card up with a tan embossed card, gold card and paper from My Mind's Eye 'The Sweetest Thing' pad.

To embellish it I made some dinky flowers using my punches, added pearl centres and a little sentiment that I could use as the easel card stopper. I was trying out a different colour scheme for me as just lately I keeping pulling out my reds and greens...think I'm still in Christmas mode! LOL!!

Anyway, hope you like it.
Thanks for looking!
Best wishes Karen x

Snow Much Love

Back with another quick post using my first ever digi image from Sassy Cheryl. This cute one is called Snow Much Love and I coloured it with my Promarkers. Along with the Go Kreate dies in the last post, I also bought a second set - Frilly # 9 which I used to create this card.

I used a combination of red and white cardstock teamed with papers from the Bazzill Nordic Pines pack. I layered the image up on various circles cut with punches and my Spellbinders dies, added a sentiment, ribbon and punched snowflakes topped with pearls, before decorating inside to match.

Hope you like it - my photography is not great at this time in the evening - lots of shadows.
Anyhoo...would like to enter it into:

Winter Ragged Angel

Afternoon Everyone!
Today I'd like to share a card I made using a new set of dies I ordered with my Christmas money - Go Kreate's XXL Frilly Frames #3. I used these lovely shapes to create an easel card. The image I chose was Ragged Angel from Mo Manning's Digital Pencil which I coloured using my Spectrum Noirs.

I love wintry themed cards so decided to make a Christmas card this time and used papers from an old Forever Friends festive pad, layered onto red cardstock.

For embellishments I added gingham ribbon, punched snowflakes covered in Stickles and highlighted with gems. Inside I added a small panel to write a message, punched with a Martha Stewart snowflake border punch, topped with a little sentiment.

Anyway, hope you like this card. I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:

Brambly Mouse

Morning All!
Today I'd like to share a card that I made using a cute Brambly Hedge image from Crafter's Companion. I used

The blue and lemon paper was from an old stash of Anna Griffin papers, layered onto white and shimmery blue cardstock. I die cut a little oval mat and cut out the image to make it pop from the page. The card is only dinky 4 x 6 inches, but I think its nice to sometimes vary the card size you work on.
To finish I added a sentiment, pearls and some lace accents before decorating inside to match.

Hope you like it, I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:

Mad as a Hatter!

Just popping back with a second card I've made...this time using the fab Mad Hatter image from Mo Manning's Digital Pencil.

This time I coloured him with my Promarkers. I love colouring and can't get enough of tutorials, etc, no matter what brand of pen they are using! I'm addicted!!
Anyhoo...I tried...really hard...LOL! to create a man's card using shades of greys, blues and oranges and very little in the way of embellishments. The papers were from the 'Swagger' pad by Fancy Pants and I punched a border directly into the papers using a zig zag punch from XCut. The sentiment is another Craftwork Cards little circle and the two pearls were coloured with my markers to match in.

Hope you like it - this is such a fun image that is bound to bring a smile to whoever you send it to, no matter what the colour scheme! I'd like to enter the card in the following challenges:

Mulberry Wood

Hi All!
Back today with a card I made using the Mulberry Wood 'Birthday Wishes' stamp from Crafter's Companion. I love the Mulberry Wood images, very cute and really clear images when you stamp them.

I coloured the dog and cat with my Spectrum Noirs and layered the image onto a gold mat, cut using a Docrafts scalloped square die which I cut diagonally and added to opposite corners. The papers were actually from the '12 days of Christmas' pack from Papermania but I thought that this beige coloured sheet could be used all year round. I finished by adding another fab sentiment from Netty's Cards, gold Card Candi from Craftwork Cards, and two red heart buttons threaded with twine, tied into a bow.

Hope you like it. I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafters Companion - Hearts
Winter Wonderland - A dog is not just for Christmas
Moving Along with the Times - Cats
Allsorts - Buttons and Bows (Heart buttons, twine bows)

Emboss It!

Hi All!
Back with a quickie today - this time with a Christmas card using the Mo Manning Elf - Mim.
I coloured her in using a mix of my Spectrum Noirs and Promarkers and layered her up onto red and white card. The white card I embossed with a Swirly embossing folder and I added a little piece of Christmas foil card cut in a banner shape for a little accent. I'm trying to start building up a Christmas card stash, so this was an easy yet effective card to create.
Hope you like it. I'd like to enter it into the Simon Says Wednesday challenge which this week is to 'Emboss it' and also into the Creative Card Crew challenge and the Seems a Little Sketchy challenge which this week is a sketch.
Best wishes and bye for now
