A few more Christmassy makes using the remaining pieces of my lovely 'Merry Little Christmas' papers from Mintay. Two stepper cards and three tags - great for using up all those fussy cut images!
I really needed a few quick Christmas Cards for some neighbours, so I turned to my 'little' bag of previously fussy cut elements from Graphic 45's 'Christmas Carol' collection and came up with these 6 x 4 cards using lots of layered 'scraps'. All that fussy cutting in front of the TV earlier in the year really paid off lol!
I really like how they turned out and have popped a little video on my Youtube Channel showing the cards and how I made them in more detail if you need some last minute ideas https://youtu.be/pYlQFmeFWWU
Back to share my idea for very quick stocking fillers and last minute gifts. These are my Chocolate Box Sleeves where I have made new sleeves for prepacked Toffifee chocolates.
I made the sleeve from Kraft card and used Mintay's 'Merry Little Christmas' papers to decorate topped with fussy cut images. I added a chipboard sentiment and glitter to finish and think they look so much nicer than the original packaging.
I've shared how I made them and the measurements on my Youtube Channel and would love it if you are able to pop over and watch. Watch Video Here
Hope you like them and they give you an idea for last minute handmade gifts.
Just popping by to share some cards I made for three of my lovely crafty friends. I really enjoyed making them and used Hello Bluebird's 'Family Photo' stamps and coloured the images with my Spectrum Noir Triblends.
I also made a little video giving my top tips for 'Batch Cardmaking with Stamped Images and Spectrum Noirs'. If you are able to pop along to my channel, and if you find it helpful, and can give the video a like and subscribe - that would be fab! Video Link https://youtu.be/KGcKLhbmKa4
Just popping on to share a family history layout of my lovely dad and his younger brother visiting Father Christmas at the John Lewis store in Liverpool in the mid 1940s. He would have laughed remembering the very vintage looking Santa.
I used Graphic 45's beautiful 'Twelve Days of Christmas' Collection for the layout. I love the rich colours of the papers, and although the image isn't sharp, I think the papers help bring it to life.
Hope you like it - I've added a little video about how I created it on my Youtube Channel Watch Here
I'd love it if you are able to go along and subscribe!
I'm back today with a festive make - this time some crackers using Mintay's beautiful 'Time of Wonder' papers and stickers. They are ideal for popping on the Christmas table or as decorative packaging for smaller gifts.
They were very easy to make with minimal supplies and I've included instructions in my little Youtube video https://youtu.be/XNbSddrPoNU
I hope you like these makes, and would love it if you were able to Like and Subscribe to my Youtube channel.
Thanks so much!
Measurements in cm on an A4 piece of card is to score at 5, 10, 15 and 20 cm on the short edge and 5, 7, and 9 cm from each edge on the long side.
Today I wanted to share some cards and mini gift boxes that I made using Graphic 45's '12 Day's of Christmas' collection. I have very little of this collection left so I'm trying to be good and use up what I have to make room for new purchases! lol!
I'm also trying to get back into making some video's for my Youtube channel so have included a link to my latest upload at the end of this post.
The card dimensions used were from Alicia Mcnamara's 'Papercraft Secrets' blog - so thank you for this fun card fold, which is another take on the Gatefold Card.
As always there is lots of fussy cutting which I really enjoy!
Hope you like my makes!

Just popping by to share my latest makes - some little gable Gift Boxes using Mintay's lovely 'Time of Wonder' papers. (Youtube video ink at the end of the post.)
These little boxes are roughly 3 1/2 x 4 inches with a depth of 2 inches and I made them to hold a little chocolate snowman and a lottery ticket as a little table gift for some girl friends when we go out for our Christmas meal.
I really enjoyed fussy cutting the images from the 6x6 pads and decorating these boxes.
Hope you like them!
Here is a link to my Youtube video to see the boxes in more detail :
Its a while since I've shared a little pop up using the Platform Pop Up Die from Lawn Fawn, so I thought I'd make one with the Yeti or Not images, also from Lawn Fawn for a non traditional, fun little Christmas card.
I coloured the images with my Spectrum Noir Triblends :)
Just popping in to share a couple more Christmas card makes. These are a couple of cuties using Hello Bluebird's 'Let It Snow' stamps. I love how you can change up the colours and make them look completely different. I took my colour scheme from my Lawn Fawn papers and love the way they turned out.
Hope you like them, I coloured them with my Spectrum Noir Triblends :)
Today I'm sharing four cards I made with the Mintay Winterland papers. I've only managed to buy two of the frames and images sheet and three single sheets of this lovely paper collection so I'm trying to make as many things as I can from the pieces I have.
These are 6x6 cards with two inches cut from either side of the front panel. I've then added a die cut image using Crafter's Companion's Catania die and then layered up my images on top. The background papers are all from one sheet matted on to Satin Silver card. I love that they look dimensional but fold flat for posting.
Trying to keep on track with some Christmas card making as I've set myself the challenge of only sending out handmade cards this year (if I do it it will be the first time ever!).
So for these two cards I used Hello Bluebird's 'Pumpkin Time' stamp set. The little fox originally had pumpkins in his wheelbarrow but I chopped those out and added little presents instead. I also went with a non traditional colour scheme for a change.
The papers are from Doodlebug and I used my favourite Spectrum Noir Triblends to colour the images in.
Its been a wee while since I've posted any of my makes so thought I'd share some of my latest Christmas Card creations.
I find fussy cutting relaxing so enjoyed cutting lots of elements from Mintay's beautiful 'Time of Wonder' papers to make these six cards. I enjoyed layering the images up and adding a diecut panel using Crafter's Companion's Gemini Amalfi die, then finished them with some glitter, pearl drops and then decorated the inside and envelope to match.
Back today with my take on a 'man's card'. The stamp is a little golfing mouse from Pink Ink that I got from the lovely Gill at Gillies Crafts in Ellesmere Port - a fantastic shop for all your crafty supplies!
I enjoyed colouring him with my Spectrum Noir Triblends in a turquoise and orange colour scheme, but think he would look great in any colour! The nesting dies and sentiment are both from Crafter's Companion.
Recently I coloured in some of the images from the Crafter's Companion 'Happy Camper' stamps with my Spectrum Triblends. I couldn't decide what style of card to make until my 'Platform Pop Up' die arrived from Lawn Fawn.
This die is definitely a new favourite and I can see lots of little scenes that I want to create, but first I had a go at popping the die pieces together and creating this little card which folds flat for posting. I didn't buy the 'add on' which creates the background panel, instead choosing to make my own by inking a cloudy sky with my Harmony Inks.
I really enjoyed demoing at the lovely Gillies Crafts in Ellesmere Port last Saturday. Below are just some of my makes using the beautiful Crafter's Companion Vintage Butterflies collection :)
