Beautiful Butterflies

Morning All!
Just a quick post this morning to share a little card I made using the Darice 'Butterflies' embossing folder from Crafter's Companion.

I love black, white and pink as a colour combo, so I teamed tit with Kraft card to make the card base.
I finished with bows, ribbon, gems and glitter but left it sentiment free so that I can decide who to send it to!
Hope you like it.
Bye for now

The Car's The Star

Morning All!
Just popping by to share a little project with you. This is a little wooden car that I altered using the lovely Graphic 45 Artisan Style papers sent to me from Jones Craft. I love the colours in this collection and had great fun using Mod Podge to adhere the papers to the wood before adding a second coat to seal it.

To enhance the darker wooden parts I coloured them with my Spectrum Noir markers. As alcohol markers they are perfect for changing the colours of wood, metal and plastic - not just for colouring in - so why not try them on your altered art pieces and home decor.
Anyway, hope you like it.
Best wishes and bye for now

Life is a Journey

Morning All!
I hope you managed to get your 'Destinations' collection. The images on the Cd and the stamps are totally fab!

Today I'd like to share a card I made using the stamps. The background was coloured with Aquatints and I used Sheena's Starburst stencil to make the rays. I even used the map stamp to create the card base background.
Hope you like it! I'd like to enter it into the following challenge:
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Stencil It (my background)
Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes Family Friendly

A Spirit of Adventure

Hi All! Hope you are loving the Crafter's Companion shows on Create and Craft. I've really enjoyed working with the Destinations CD but today I thought I'd show you a card I made with the stamps.

My favourite image is of the Can Can dancer so I stamped her out three times and coloured her in with my Spectrum Noir pens. The background frames were stamped out and I cut off the parrots and layered the dancers above them. I randomly stamped some of the floral elements in black around the edges and added a simple piece of red ribbon to finish. Hope you like it!
Back soon with some more inspiration.
Best wishes and bye for now

This is a two disc collection and on the second disc are some great 3D type projects - bags, favour boxes etc, so I thought I'd show you two litttle gift bags I made simply from printing out the designs and embellishments and attaching them together with red line tape and Collall Glue gel.

I hope you like them - they ideal for all those little gifts and dinky prezzies that you bring back for people from your hols!

A Treasured Chest

Afternoon All.
Just popped by today to share a little notelet chest I made using the lovely Graphic 45 Artisan Style papers sent to me by the lovely team at Jones Crafts.

I painted and decorated this old wooden box and gave it a new lease of life, adding the Graphic 45 feet and a the door knocker.

Then I added some simple notelets made with the papers and altered a cheap planner/organiser to match, embellishing it with the cut aparts, chipboard pieces and ribbon.

Anyway, hope you like it - I love the way it all turned out and think this may well be a 'keeper' lol!
Thanks for popping by.
Best wishes
