Polar Express

It has to be said that I love the Polar Express images in Hunkydory's Traditional Christmas collection.
Here are the cards I managed to make from the two pieces of card and the sheet of toppers...and I still have some left!

Hope you like them. I'd like to enter them into the ABC Christmas challenge which this week is 'S is for Something Festive'

Moonbeam Stepper

Hi All!
Just a quick post to share a little stepper card I made using the Moonbeam Meadows collection.

The toppers were from the Everyday CD - where the images are all so lovely it is hard to know which ones to choose to work with next! The doilies from the CD make great embellishments and the card was fun to decorate with ribbons, gems, a flower and Stickles Glitter glue.
I'd like to enter this card in the Papertake Weekly challenge which this week is 'Oh How Cute'

Anyway, hope you like this card.
Back soon with more makes!

I made this card with an acetate front and matted it onto layers of the lovely design papers from the CD. The addition of black card helps to make the colours pop and there are lots of embellishments such as doilies, bunting and flowers on the CD that you can cut out to decorate.
Hope you like this card. I would like to enter it in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge which is 'Anything Goes'. The products I used and Spectrum Noir pens and pencils are listed below:

Herald Angel

Today I thought I'd share a Christmas card I made using one of the sets from the Hunkydory Christmas Craftinator.

I love this angel image and decided to create the scene on a piece of acetate that I added to the front of the card. The elements in this set help to frame her perfectly. I finished the card off with a sentiment and a border and decorated inside to match.
I would like to enter this card in the ABC Christmas challenge which this week is to make Something Festive.

Brambly Rocker

Morning All!
Have you been having a play with the new Brambly Hedge CD from Crafter's Companion yet? This is one of the Rocker Cards I made from the High Hills CD. I love the vintage feel of these images so would like to enter this card into the Vintage challenge over at Crafty Creations this week.

These are so easy to make and you can go to town with your embellishments, gems and glitter, but my top tip is to keep checking that what ever you add balances properly or your card won't rock.
Although this is a vintage style image I added plenty of glitter and pearl gems for a bit of bling, so would also like to enter this into the Sparkle and Bling Challenge over at Crafty Little Fairies.
Anyway, hope you like this little card - I love the fact that it is a different shape from the normal square or rectangular cards.
Best wishes

Patchwork Forest Gang

Hi All!
Over at the ABC challenge this week, the challenge is Tic Tac Toe - a choice of elements that you can use on your cards. I chose to use the Ribbon, Sentiment and Pearls/Gems option.

This card was made using elements from the Hunkydory Return to Patchwork Forest Collection. On one of the backing papers from the pad I added some hand cut decoupage of the little characters layering them up with 3D gel. Two of these images I added to an acetate wrap so that when the card stands up and the acetate swings forward they all look like they are standing in a group.

I then cut bunting from the paper pad and created the banner sentiment 'From Us All', decorating it with ribbon and gems.
Finally I decorated inside with a matching insert and anther cut out sentiment.

I would also like to enter this card in the Paper Shelter Challenge which is Ribbon, Twine or Floss (I used ribbon).

Best wishes

Red Roses

Over on the Scrapology blog, the card challenge this month is Anything Goes, so I decided to create another card using the lovely Radiant Roses collection from Hunkydory.

I created a gatefold card and decoupaged the image before decorating inside to match.

Mouse Companion

Afternoon everyone!
Well, I'm still loving the little mice from Brambly Hedge and today I thought I'd share a card using one of the Card Companions on the new CD released by Crafter's Companion.

These 'companions' make a card so easy to put together with all the elements printable from just two sheets ready for you to cut out and create.

I added an embossed background of Core'dinations card - embossed with a Die'sire 'Flower Power' embossing folder. After adding my matts and layers, creating the flowers and adding a sentiment, I finished off with pearl dots and glitter.

Anyway, hope you like this card. I'd like to enter it into the following challenges:

Paddling Mice

Morning All!
Just a quick post to share a little top fold card I made using one of the lovely little stamps from the Sea Story - Brambly Hedge range.

I coloured the image with my Spectrum Noir pens and pencils and then die cut the image. The card was made from Centura Pearl, a piece of which I embossed and then coloured over completely with my Spectrums to create a background and to colour match my image. I then added, mesh, ribbon, gems and some seashell charms. I love this dinky card - hope you do too!

Autumn Leaves

Afternoon All!
Just thought I'd pop by to share a card I made using one of the 'Autumn' themed stamps from the Brambly Hedge range by Crafter's Companion.

I love these images and the stamps are perfect for putting your own colour combinations together. I chose to use oranges, browns and greens - coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens and pencils.
The leafy background papers were printed from a Flower Fairies CD and I used Kraft card for a rustic look. I even found some leafy trim in my stash.

Anyway, hope you like it.
I would like to enter this card in the Papertake Weekly Challenge which this week is 'Anything Goes' and the Crafty Creations Sketch Challenge.
