Camden Town Pop Up

Afternoon All!

Today I thought I'd share a little pop up card tutorial with you. I made this little 6x4 inch card using images from the Camden Town CD from Crafter's Companion along with Core'dinations card stock.
Cut your green Coredinations card to 12 x 4 inches and score in half to make your card base. Print off the garden shed Card Companions page from the CD twice (one for the front of the card and one for the inside pop up) and cut out the elements ready to add dimension to your card.
Cut a piece of white card stock 11 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches, then score and fold in half. Border punch the top and bottom edges. Measure along the fold line 1 1/4 inches from each end and make two one inch cuts. This will make the pop out mechanism for inside your card.
Glue or tape inside your green card base making sure that you do not add glue to your pop up mechanism. Then glue the cut out elements to the mechanism for a 3D look.
Decorate the inside panels with the cut out bunting, ribbon border and 'birthday' sentiment.
Decorate the front of the card using elements cut from CD image and matt onto co-ordinating Core'dinations card. Create punched flowers and leaves in matching cardstock and decorate with pearls.
Hope you like this fun little card. You can apply the same techniques using similar elements from the Card Companions sections of the Crafter's companion CDs.

Thanks for popping by!
Best wishes

I would like to enter my 'Garden Party' card in the 'Parties and Festivities' challenge over at Daring Cardmakers.
