Red and White Challenge

Here is my little card for the red and white Winter Wonderland challenge. I cut the trees from Bo Bunny Xmas papers and mounted them on swirly white pearlesant paper to represent the snow! I tried to keep it simple with a little ribbon, a sentiment and a bit of stickles shimmer. Thanks for looking!

Fairies and Butterflies

Sorry about the glare on this photo - the shine of the background and dufex made it a bit tricky to photograph properly. I hope to enter this card in Quixotic's 'Flutter By' Challenge and Creative Inspirations Wed 'Feminine' Challenge. I also hope to enter it in Cook Up With Katie's recipe challenge which required a non human image (Fairy), a texture (Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder) and a product I'd not used before(Dufex). It's hard not to love the Flower Fairies - all the images are lovely! Thanks for looking!

Popcorn and Souffle

This is my entry for the Totally Paper Crafts 'Friends' Challenge. I've used an image of Popcorn the Bear and Souffle the Duck from the 'Floral' cd by Crafter's Companion and matched it with some background papers from the same cd. The 'true friends' sentiment is Bo Bunny! Hope you like it!

Candy Pink Tilda

Here is my entry for Simply Create's 'Pink' challenge. I've used Christmas Party Tilda with DCWV Christmassy papers. I'd also like to enter it into ABC's Christmas Challenge of using 'candy' somewhere in the design and have really overdone it - three times - on Tilda, the papers and the little charm! Thanks for looking!

Kissing Hedgehogs

This latest card I'd like to enter into Penny Black's Saturday 'Something Sweet' challenge and the One Stop Craft Challenge of 'Love and Kisses'. I have also used Sketch Saturday's brilliant sketch. Hope you like it! I love these black corner peel offs!

Forever Friends Christmas Card

I made this card to add to my Christmas Card stash and liked the blue and silver colours. It was a quick card to make and I finished it off by lining the envelope to match. I thought I would enter this in A Spoonful of Sugar's 'Freestyle' challenge where this week - anything goes!

Mimi and the Daffodils

This little green card was made using Pink Gem's 'Mimi and the Daffodils' stamps. I liked the green and yellow colour combo as I think its very 'spring-like'. I rounded the corners to soften the lines and complemented the daffodils with a layered paper flower which I inked the edges of and attached with a brad. I am entering this in Cute Card Thursday's 'Blooming Gorgeous' challenge. Thanks for looking!

PS - I have just noticed that my camera has gone a bit funny on this and the last post - sorry about that - I will sort it out by the next post!

White on White

This is a simple little card I made using white pearlesant card (sorry it looks a bit pink on here but it is white). I then added a layer of white card which I put through the Cuttlebug using the Victoria embossing folder and a strip of card punched with Martha Stewart's Lace Doily punch as a place to put my sentiment. I attached white flowers (two of them were already tinged with green which helps to make them stand out) with a white brad and tiny pearl embellishment and am hoping to enter this in the Charizma Cards 'White on White' challenge.
PS - I have just noticed that my camera has gone a bit funny - sorry about that - I will sort it out by the next post.

Deck Chair Hedgie

Sorry about the bad lighting in this pic - it is 9.55pm and these energy saving bulbs aren't like the old ones!!! Some of my pink bits look a bit peachy but they are pink in 'real life'! For this design I used Papermania linen effect paper, a K and Co diecut mat pad from their Wild Raspberry collection and a punched border using a Martha Stewart punch and a leaf punch to add to the corner flowers. As this design covered a lot of areas I would like to enter it in a number of sketches.

One Stop Craft Challenge - Fancy Edges and Corners

Creative Card Crew - Punch It

Spoonful of Sugar - Lots of Layers

Allsorts Challenge - Pink and Brown

Papertake Weekly - Pretty in Pink

Blue, gold and cream challenge.

I just thought you might like to see my card for the Penny Black blue, gold and cream challenge. I used a 6 x 4" card and very few embellishments but I did line the envelope and put a matching insert inside. I tried to combine this with the sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges.

Why not join in with the blog candy draw and become a follower at A Sprinkling of Glitter. There is the possibility of winning a lovely surprize gift if you become a follower and plenty of inspiration on the site.

Valentine Mouse

This is my interpretation of the Friday Sketchers challenge combining a mouse from the Cute Companions set, a Martha Stewart Punch and a Valentines theme. Its an easle card and perhaps a little fussy but I think that's what Valentine's is all about! That's my excuse anyway ha! ha! Thanks for looking.

Just a Note Mouse

Today I decided to use a mouse from the Cute Companions range on a 6 x 4" tent card. I have tried to combine a little distressing and a bit of a vintage look on using Mojo Monday's Sketch. I am hoping to enter this also into Creative Inspirations saturday 'distressing' challenge. Hope you like it. I thought a few of these would also make great notelets!

Pink and Grey Easle Card

Love this colour combo of pink and grey and my favourite little Penny Black hedgies! Got this stamp plate called 'Wonderful' for Christmas and have set myself the task of making as many cards as poss from this selection so sorry if you keep seeing them but I love 'em!

I've tried to enter this in a few challenges including the Penny Black Saturday Challenge sketch, Charizma Cards 'New' challenge as some of the papers I bought after the New Year (DCWV and K&CO pink Amy Butler 12x12), also Cute Card Thursday's pink and grey challenge and Creative Inspirations (Wed) 'New' challenge. Hope you like it! Thanks for looking.

Orange Themed Penny Black

This will be my first challenge for Friday Sketchers. I like the way you can make this sketch as complicated or as simple as you like - and thought the colours set off my little Penny Black Hedgehog!

Pink Gem Dino

I made this card for the Papertake Weekly Challenge Sketch using the little Dino image from Pink Gem Designs. I love the pink and green combo and will definately be using it again as it feels really spring-like - a hard thing to imagine when we're surrounded by snow!

Blue Flowery Penny Black Hedgehog

This card was made using Sketch Saturday's latest challenge. Its a great sketch for using up all your odd bits and pieces! I'm also hoping to enter this in Cute Card Thursday's Challenge. The background in an Anna Griffin paper and the punch used was Martha Stewart's Lace Doily.

Pink and Brown themed Penny Black

This is a 6 x 6 card I made using Penny Black 'prezzie giving' hedgehogs for my latest Challenges. I love the Pink and Brown theme so am entering this in the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge and the Charizma Card Challenge - as well as the Allsorts Challenge using their great Sketch idea. The papers used are Papermania with a lovely linen effect which unfortunately you can't see very well here.

Flowery Fun

I made this card for the Papertake Weekly Challenge of New Beginnings using my new Penny Black stamp, Martha Stewart punch and papers that I got for Christmas. Love the summery feel to this card which seems a long way away now that we are in the gip of winter!!!

Black and White and Red all over!

This little card features one of my new stamps that I got for Christmas from Penny Black along with Dovecraft papers, red mirri board and some lovely swirly white pearlised paper. Unfortunately the colours do not show up as good in real life as I'm taking this photo in the early evening light and it's not really doing the card justice. Anyway, hope you like it - I love the black, white and red theme - thanks for looking!

25 Days till Christmas

I love scrapbooking and also set myself the challenge of doing a 25 Days till Christmas journal. The key to completing this at such a busy time of year is making the basic book pages beforehand so that you can just add your pics, journalling and embellishments each day. Although at times I did get a little behind, I soon caught up and it has made a great reminder of all the things I did on the run up to Christmas. I will definately do one again next year!

Christmas Gift Card/Voucher Holders

As I get to grips with this Blogging malarky I just though I would share a few pics of Christmas Gift cards and holders I made before I post the Thanks You and Birthday cards I've been working on. They were so simple to do and next year - or this year - I will definately get myself more organised to make more.
