I really enjoyed getting more of my Christmas Cards made today. These Swing Cards may look complicated but they are very easy to make and are a great way to use your ephemera and die cut pieces to really make your cards pop. I used Graphic 45's Deck the Halls collection but they would fab in Halloween designs, or with floral images too. All instructions are in my YouTube video.
These fun fold cards were inspired by the lovely Sam Calcott, I just changed the papers and tweeked the design to make them my own. Please visit her channel too for more inspiration.
Hi Everyone! After being on my holidays these last two weeks, I've had some lovely crafty products delivered so I thought I would share my latest haul with you to inspire you. The products are from Graphic 45, Mintay and Stamperia.
I thought I would share my version of a Matchbook Flap Card. I've used Graphic 45's Portrait of a Lady 8x8 pad, but these would look great with any collection.
All instructions are on my YouTube video. Hope you like them!
Here is a really fun way to make celebratory cards for in your stash. These Diagonal Joy Fold cards are so easy to make and really effective. I used Mintay's 6x8 Celebration Pad and their 6x8 Lace Background Pad. You can change the papers to match your fussy cut elements or the occasion.
Hope you like them. All instructions are in the video.
These are my latest Graphic 45 makes using a tiny amount of the beautiful 'Fairy Boutique' papers. These little gift bags are so easy to make, use minimum papers and would look great in any collection - particularly good for Halloween in some spooky papers.
Hope you like them - all instructions and measurements are in the video.
Today I'm sharing my entry for the Mintay' Nature's Touch' challenge, where you have to use natural elements on your project. As I live by the seaside there are always plenty of 'finds' on the beach and in the sand dunes. #mintaynaturestouchchallenge
I made my own shadow box, layering up lots of strips of cardboard behind a basic flat frame, covering the outer frame with the 'textured' print paper. This gave me compartments to create little dimensional coastal scenes in each, with lots of elements fussy cut from the papers. I then decorated these with beach grasses and dried coastal plants, shells, driftwood, feathers, and rope twine.
I hope you like my project and it gives you some ideas for breaking down the beautiful busy papers to create little scenes. I also created a little video to show the finished piece in detail. https://youtu.be/QsTI5UCF3t0
Today I decided to adapt a card I had made to change the papers with the seasons. I created what I am calling a Diamond Fold Back Pop Up Card showing just how different it can look if you follow the same formula but change the papers. The first two cards are made with Graphic 45's Grow with Love, whilst the third card is made with Graphic 45's Warm Wishes collection.
All measurements and instructions are on my YouTube video.
