Make a Note

Afternoon Crafty Peeps!
Today I'm sharing a magnetic notebook I made using the Graphic 45 World's Fair papers and embellishments sent to me by the lovely folks at Jones Craft.

I loved all the fussy cutting, and the vibrant orange and blue colour scheme running through this collection. I think I might make a few more of these for Christmas prezzies as they are ideal for popping on your fridge to write your shopping lists.

Inspirational Aquatints

Morning All!
Just popped by to share my projects for the latest Crafter's Companion Inspiration magazine.

Using the free stamps which came with the fabulous mag, I made a variety of background using my Aquatints.

O Holy Night

Afternoon Crafters!
Just popped by today to share a pop out card I made using the 'O Holy Night' Create a Card die from Crafter's Companion.

I cut one of the images from black card, inked through the die as a stencil and added gold Stickles as highlights to create the front panel. I cut a second image, which I scored in half to pop inside for the pop out. The vivid background was created using my Aquatints.

Hope you like this version. The Aquatints are great for making bright and bold backing papers!

Seeing Double

Morning All!
The 4th September already! Where did that do? Well, today I'm wishing a few more days away til Monday, when the lovely Leann Chivers launches some new A6 Create a Card dies on Create and Craft.

Today I thought I'd share a gatefold style card I made using the dies to create a double bow front. This Bauble die with the showflake background is really lovely and cuts out perfectly! To finish I added snowflake dies, pearls, Card Candi and a stamped sentiment. 

The two sides of the gatefold tie with a bow. The inside I embossed with the Vintage Holly Embossalicious folder.

Getting Sentimental

Morning Crafters!
Today I thought I'd share a couple more cards using the Crafter's Companion Christmas 'Only Words' dies. I love these little sentiments!
First up is 'Let It Snow' - perfect for using with all your snowy scenes, snowflake dies and embossing folders.

And then there is 'Christmas Blessings' - a lovely sentiment and ideal for those more 'thoughtful' cards that you want to send during the festive season.
