Today I thought I'd share a couple of card I made using the new 'Only Words' dies from Crafter's Companion - I Hope you like them!

Romany Christmas Frame Card and Ornaments

Morning All!
Today I'd like to share a little frame card that I made using the new Abigail Mills CD 'Romany Christmas'.

 I also made some little Christmas tree ornaments using images from the CD printed onto transfer paper and then ironed on to felt. I don't have a sewing machine so I hand sewed around the egde with blanket stitch.

Hope you like them! I'd like to enter this project into the ABC Christmas Challenge where you choose one of their past challenges - I have chosen C is for Colourful - to depict my Christmas tree ornaments.

Romany Christmas Gift Set

Afternoon Crafters!
Tune in to Create and Craft tomorrow and you will see the new Abigail Mills CD called Romany Christmas.

With lots of lovely fabric themed Christmas images, anyone who enjoys needlework or the look of fabric texture on their cards, will love this new collection. Today I thought I'd share a baby grow and matching gift box that I made.

The baby grow image was added using printable transfer paper, whilst the box was made on my Ultimate Pro and decorated with papers and tags from the CD.

Over the Rooftops

Morning All!
And what a lousy morning it is here too! Grey, windy and wet! Hope things are better where you are!
Anyway, this morning I thought I'd share another card I made using the Crafter's Companion Create a Card  dies - this time 'Over the Rooftops'.

I cut the image from black card and used silver ink to bring out the stencilled detail. The landscape at the bottom of the die I cut several times to add to the bottom of the card and also to make an edge to act as a stopper on my easel card. The background is white Sheena Stamping card run through the Textures distress folder as I thought it looked a bit snowy.

Box of Delights

Morning Crafters!
It's a sunny morning here but I'm still going to share a wintry project with you all! lol!
Today I thought I'd show you a gift box I made using two cuts of the 'Christmas Eve' Create a Card die.

I made a little half inch tab down each side and stuck the two pieces together, added a snowy acetate window, and then made a box lid and base on my Ultimate Pro to fit.

The little square panel became a tag and I added a bow and embellishments on the top. Ideal for a candle or sweets.

Fireside Flames

Just thought I'd pop by and share a wee bit more Crafter's Companion Create a Card inspiration - this time using the Fireside die.

This is a fab die to use with black card - I tried to make it pop by putting it against an Aquatint background. Hope you like it!

Orient Aquatints

Morning All!
Only one more day to go until the Crafter's Companion One Day Wonder on Create and Craft. Yesterday I shared a card I made using the We Three Kings die, today I'd like to show you how different you can make the same die look.

This time I used black card, inked with bronze ink and given a quick squirt of Spray and Shine. I then created a background using my Aquatints...I think the bright colours really set off the image. Finally I added a wee bit of gold glitter and a sentiment.

Three Wise Men

Hi Everyone!
I love the Create a Card dies from Crafter's Companion, and if you do too, you'll be pleased to know that a Christmas range of thses dies will be featuring as a One Day Wonder on Create and Craft this Thursday.

I was lucky enough to be able to work with some of these dies so I thought I'd share one of my samples with you here. Here I made a stepper card using the Three Wise Men die, Centura Pearl card and blue Core'dinations. I inked through the die to bring out the detail and decorated the card with a bow, gems and a sentiment.

Makey Bakey Christmas Mouse

Afternoon All!
Back with another quick post to share a card I made using both my Spectrum Aqua markers and the Texture Embossing forlders from Crafter's Companion.

The image is a Makey Bakey Mouse, stampled and coloured on watercolour paper, and the background is two layers - one white and one inked with green Distress ink - embossed with the Laef Vein embossing folder. I then finished the card with a die cut snowflake, ribbon, gems and a sentiment.

Textures - Dry Stone Wall

Morning All!
Its been a while but I have been beavering away behind the scenes. Today I'd like to share one of my samples for the Crafter's Companion Weekender, which along with Spectrum Aqua Markers, showcases the Texture Embossing Folders in a new 5x7 inch size.

First up is card I made with the Dry Stone Wall folder - along with one of Sheena Douglass's fab poppy stamps. Hope you like it! I'd like to enter it into the Simon Says Wed Challenge which is 'Anything Goes'
