Flower Pot Bunnies

Morning All!
Today I'd like to share a card that I would like to enter in the Penny Black at Allsorts Challenge for July which this month is Flower Power. I created a DL card and layered it with some of the lovely papers from the Tulip range by Papermania. I coloured my Penny Black Bunnies with Promarkers and decided not to go for the blended look on the flower pots to try and make them look a bit more rustic but not sure if this actually worked ha! ha! I added a sentiment which I stamped in green ink and clear embossed then added flowers and leaves created from a Marianne Die. These were topped off with Stickles for a bit of shine.
Anyway, enjoy your Sunday and will be back soon with some more of my creations!
Best wishes and bye for now

Ice Cream Critters

Evening All!
I just popped by today to show you my entry for the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge which this week is for 'Buttons, Bows and Bling'. I used the lovely image of two mice enjoying a tub of ice cream which I coloured with Promarkers. The background papers were from Papermania and some lovely coppery American Crafts textured card was used for matting and layering. I also used a Martha Stewart punch for a border then added a bow, buttons and tiny matching gems in the corners - hope you like it!
Why not head over to the challenge site where you'll find they are celebrating their anniversary of 100 challenges with a blog hop and some really fab mousy and non mousy prizes up for grabs!
I would also like to enter this card into the I Love Promarkers Challenge which this week is for 1 ribbon, 2 designer papers and 2 gems or buttons and also for the Simon Says Stamp and Sir Stampalot - Anything Goes - challenges.
Thanks for looking!
Bye for now

Pretty Panels

Hi Everyone!
Hope you are enjoying the sunshine! Here is my card for this week's Simon Says 'Anything Goes'.
I used an 'old' set of floral and butterfly stamps and gave them a new lease of life by creating an inky background in pink, green and lilac. I then cut the scene into three before adding Glossy Accents, Cosmic Shimmer Twinkles and Pearl Pen to each section and matting and layering it up onto a DL card. I'd also like to enter this little Thank You card into the ABC Challenge which is 'Yesterday' - a challenge which allows you to create something vintage or to dig out your old stamps!
Thanks for looking!
Bye for now

Feeling Festive?

Afternoon All!
Thought you might like to see a card that I'm hoping to enter in the Winter Wonderland Challenge which this week is 'Red and Green Must Not Be Seen' - so my blue and silver card fits the bill perfectly. The image I used was from the Joanna Sheen Furry Friends CD with paper from K and Co and lovely slim tinsel from Websters Pages trim. This little pug dog looks so grumpy that I'm sure we've all had moments like this over Christmas when the last thing we want to do is feel festive ha! ha! He looks like he's being forced to get into the party mood!
Anyway, thanks for looking and will be back soon with another crafty item.
Best wishes

Kitten in Roses

Hi Everyone!
Where do these days go to? I think I'm too busy buying crafty stuff and need to spend more time using it ha! ha!
Anyway, I thought you'd like to see one of my Joanna Sheen Design Team samples using the Furry Friends CD. This image of the kitten amongst the roses is lovely so I decided to mimic that by matting it onto Papermania's Henbury Lane papers which has lovely sparkly pink roses on. I added Pearl Pen 'pearls' before finishing it off with butterflies cut from the background paper. Hope you like it. I'd like to enter it into the Allsorts Challenge which this week is 'Free and Easy' and Papertake Weekly's 'Anything Goes' challenge.

My Glamorous Gran

Hi Everyone.
I had wanted to do a scrapbook page about my Gran for a long time so the sketch over at Once Upon a Sketch this month was just perfect. I used the Bo Bunny Sophie Collection - mainly the Sophie Frills Diecut and Bouquet papers and then embellished with turquoise trim, purple gem and lots of fussy cutting and matching glitter. I added two sentences of journalling for the challenge but there is a tab with my Gran's name 'Mary' on it to the right of the picture where I've created a secret pocket with lots more journalling and my recollections of our good times together.
Anyway, thanks for looking. Why not pop over to the Once Upon a Sketch site and have a go at their latest challenge.
Best wishes
