Festive Flower Soft

Hi All
Back again with a Christmas card I made that I'd like to enter in Creative Inspirations challenge which this week is for 'Christmas in May'. I used some Flower soft designs, making one of the little sentiments look like an old pub sign covered in snow (Stickles and pearl pen) and Flower Soft for the foliage. I also added vintage lace and ribbon and matted the image on plenty of layers and glittered cardstock. I then decorated the inside of the card to complement the front design.
Hope you like this little festive feel!
Bye for now

Mr Perfect!

Hi Everyone!
Well, we've moved into our new home and it's fab! Everywhere is topsy turvy but we'll get to sorting it all out eventually. I've just popped by to show you a card I made for the Charizma card challenge which this week is 'Boy Oh Boy' - a card for men. Hope you like it - it was hard to photograph as I was in a bit of a hurry and the light reflected everything in the holographic card but I hope you get the gist. Not sure what you call this type of card but its folded and cut so that the circular bit pops out!
Have a great weekend - will be back soon.
Best wishes

Pop Up Seahorses

Hi Everyone!
Its all a bit hectic here as we prepare to move house next week but I just thought I'd show you this little pop up card I made. The sea horse images (Joanna Sheen Tales of the Ocean) were simply stamped onto little panels, the edges inked and layered up onto mirri and coloured card. I then took a DL card and punched a border with a Martha Stewart punch, added a turquoise card background and torn strip of designer paper (DCWV Spring paper) on which to layer my little panels. I then made some pop up sections inside the card and similar stamped panels inside which pop up when the card is opened. Simple but effective. I hope to enter this card into the Crafty Creations and Simon Says Stamp and Show 'Anything Goes' challenges, the ABC Challenge which, this week, is to 'Show something Underneath' and Creative Inspirations 'Decorate Inside Your Card' challenge.
Many thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of the weekend!
Best wishes

Fantastic Fairies

Hi Everyone!
Just thought I'd show you my decoupage card that I made for the Crafter's Companion Challenge site which this month is to create a card for a 'Girl's Birthday'. So...I whipped out my Flower Fairy CD, chose a fairy and background paper and layered her up on gold card. I made the 8x8 card myself from pearly red card and decided to not add extra embellishments but let the lovely image and sentiment speak for itself. I also added a verse and lacy punched insert inside but forgot to take a wee piccy of that! Hope you like it.
Thanks for looking.

Forever Challenge

Evening All!
Just back with another quickie. Nearly forgot to post this next scrapbook layout. This is a piece I'd like to enter in The Bird is The Word challenge which this month is to use the word 'Forever' somewhere on your layout. This pic is of my hubby and me on a night out before Christmas at our favourite restaurant - really happy memories! The papers used were Prima - luscious with flowers and lovely vibrant colours. I used lots of layers, fussy cutting, punched out a matt using a Martha Stewart punch and create a lacy heart which I stamped in pink Distress ink using a little Prima background stamp.
Hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Fairy Dust

Hi Everyone!
Hope you've had another fantastic Bank Holiday and enjoyed the great weather we've been having!
This week I decided to take part in the By the Cute and Girly and the Papertake Weekly challenge which was nice and easy as 'Anything Goes' as well as the Spoonful of Sugar 'White and one Colour' challenge. The card I made used one of my favourite Lili of the Valley fairy stamps which I embossed in black embossing powder and very lightly highlighted with a touch of pink souffle pen. I layered it up onto black and pink card and embossed a piece of white card with a Swirl folder and added Diamond Stickles for a little 'fairy dust' ha! ha! The pink organza ribbon and gems just finished it off.
Anyway, thanks for looking - enjoy the rest of the day!
Best wishes
