Holly Poinsettia

 Afternoon All!

Just popping in by the skin of my teeth to share my Christmas Card for February. I am trying to make one or two Xmas cards a month to build up my stash.

This card features the 'Holly Poinsettia' stamp by Conie Fong from Crafter's Companion. I really enjoyed colouring her in non-xmas colours with my Spectrum Noir Triblends and matching it with some Doodlebug papers.

Hope you like it!

Scent with Love

Well Gang - its February already! Can you believe it! So I thought I'd better share a little Valentine's card I've made using the fabulous little Skunks from Lawn Fawn's 'Sent With Love' stamp set.

I used a Crafter's Companion Triple Easel Heart die to create my base card (trimming a little bit off the back so that it stands up) and I coloured the images with my Spectrum Triblends - hope you like it!

Gone Fishing!

 Hi Gang!

Just thought I'd pop by to share my first masculine themed card of the year :)

It is a 5x7inch card and I used two Daisy Mae Stamp sets called 'Gone Fishing' and 'Messing about in Boats'. I went with turquoise blue and orange shades and coloured the images with my Spectrum Noir Pens, then decorated the inside to match.

Hope you like it :)

Oh What Fun!

 Hi Everyone!

Today I've added to my Christmas card stash with some cards I made using the lovely Annabel Spenceley stamp 'Oh What Fun' by Crafter's Companion. I love this little elf and he is great to colour in different combinations especially with your Spectrum Triblends.

I also used an older Embossalicious Embossing Folder for the background, my Moonstone Dies for the scalloped rectangles and Lawn Fawn papers.

Hope you like them!

Back with another couple of cards that I made with Daisy Mae stamps and coloured with my Spectrum Noir markers. I created the background with a stencil and my Harmony Inks to give the effect of  a tablecloth and add little diecut doilies underneath the stamped images.

Happy Easter Gift Boxes

I thought I would share these little Easter Cards and Mini Gift Boxes that I made for our elderly neighbours who can't get out at the moment during lockdown. I filled the boxes with little cartons of Mini Eggs. I also ended up making some for a few of the girls from work to cheer them up, and created 12 boxes in the end - they were such fun to make!

The stamps are from the Hello Bluebird range and most of the papers used were from an older My Mind's Eye 6x6 pad called 'Bluebell'. I coloured the images with my favourite Spectrum Noir Triblend pens.

Hope you like them!
Happy Easter everyone!

Life is Good Pop Up Box

Hi Everyone!

Well its been an absolute age since I've posted on here so I thought I'd pop along and update things.

I'm still lucky enough to be crafting regularly for Crafter's Companion and was asked along to the Creative World show in Frankfurt in January to demonstrate on their stand. It was a fabulous experience and I loved every minute of it.

I've also been demonstrating for them regularly in North Wales and Cheshire - which I really enjoy - along with catching up with regular customers and having a good old crafty chat!

Unfortunately life for us all has drastically changed at present with the Coronavirus and as we are on lockdown I've decided to get out some of my crafty stash, dust it off and make some things.

The first is using the Lawn Fawn stamps called 'Life is Good' - which sadly it isn't right now, but hopefully this cheery card makes us hope for things to come when we have beaten this awful virus. I coloured the images with my Spectrum Noir pens and used Distress Oxides for the beachy backgrounds.

I hope you like my little pop up card.

Stay safe all xx

This little card features a stamp from Moonbeam Meadow coloured with Spectrum Noir Pens. (TB1, TB2, TB4, OR4, DG2, TN3, GB8) I created the little door to hide a sentiment inside.

Hope you like it!

Well, Happy New Year folks! I hope you enjoyed your celebrations! I can't quite believe its all over now!
Today I thought I'd share a card which is a bit of a blast from the past - a Moonbeam Meadow image  from Crafter's Companion which I've coloured with my Spectrum Noirs.

I teamed the image with pink card, and papers and a doily from the Moonbeam Everyday CD, before adding gems, ribbon and a sentiment.
