Botanicabella Botanist

Just popped by to share a project I made using the fabulous Botanicabella collection from Graphic 45 - sent to me by the lovely peeps at Jones Crafts.
I decided to alter a book box and make it into a little keepsake box which may have belonged to a Victorian botanist.

Inside I made a mini album notebook out of grunge board and the papers where the botanist could make notes and keep samples of his finds. I also created a little pin board on the inside of the box where he could store pictures and cuttings, and I even added some littlepaper butterfly samples - collected just as a Victorian would have done.

I hope you like my little project. I love decorating the box to look like a book!
Many thanks and bye for now

World's Fair Trio

Afternoon Folks!
Today I thought I'd share some projects I have made using the fabulous Graphic 45 'World's Fair' collection, sent to me by the lovely people at Jones Crafts.
I first decided to make a 5.5 x 5.5 inch card from Kraft card and cut images from the papers to create a male themed design. The original A4 piece of Kraft card that I used had a spare bit left over so I then made a tag to match.

In my stash I also had a blank Kraft notebook so I decided to decorate that too so I had a little gift to match.

I hope you like my little trio as much as I enjoyed creating them. Thanks for popping by!

I'd like to enter my trio in the following challenge:

Gilded Lily Collection

Morning All!
On Friday I shared a card and gift box that I made using the fab Graphic 45 Gilded Lily papers and embellishments sent to me by the lovely gang at Jones Crafts. Today I thought I'd show you the other gift items I made to complete the set.

First up I made a couple of triangle gift boxes. These are really easy to make - here I made two base boxes from one piece of A4 card - and then you can decorate them however you like. I added lots of fussy cut elements from the papers.

I then made a large gift bag and used one of the images from the signature sheet to decorate the front, along with a chipboard tag, ribbon and glitter.

I think this would make the perfect gift set for a wedding couple  - pretty and elegant. Hope you like them!

Celebrate in Style with Gilded Lily

Afternoon All!
Today I thought I'd share a card and mini gift box I made using Graphic 45's Gilded Lily collection sent to me by the lovely people at Jones Crafts.

This is a beautiful collection with really lovely imagery. First up I made the card, layering up the fussy cut images and adding a die cut greating at the top using one of the new Die'sire Sentiment Edgeable dies from Crafter's Companion which says 'Celebrate in Style'.

I then made a little box to match using my Ultimate Pro - it is just big enough to pop a gift card in and make it look a bit more fancy! I used a border punch to decorate the sides and along with the fussy cut elements I added liquid pearsl and a touch of glitter.
Hope you like today's projects. This really is a pretty collection of papers and embellishments, and makes creating elegant cards and gifts really easy!
Thanks for popping by!

The Car's The Star

Morning All!
Just popping by to share a little project with you. This is a little wooden car that I altered using the lovely Graphic 45 Artisan Style papers sent to me from Jones Craft. I love the colours in this collection and had great fun using Mod Podge to adhere the papers to the wood before adding a second coat to seal it.

To enhance the darker wooden parts I coloured them with my Spectrum Noir markers. As alcohol markers they are perfect for changing the colours of wood, metal and plastic - not just for colouring in - so why not try them on your altered art pieces and home decor.
Anyway, hope you like it.

A Treasured Chest

Afternoon All.
Just popped by today to share a little notelet chest I made using the lovely Graphic 45 Artisan Style papers sent to me by the lovely team at Jones Crafts.

I painted and decorated this old wooden box and gave it a new lease of life, adding the Graphic 45 feet and a the door knocker.

Then I added some simple notelets made with the papers and altered a cheap planner/organiser to match, embellishing it with the cut aparts, chipboard pieces and ribbon.

Anyway, hope you like it - I love the way it all turned out and think this may well be a 'keeper' lol!
Thanks for popping by.
Best wishes

The Good Life

Afternoon All!
Back today to share a 'large' accordion card made with some of the fabulicious Home Sweet Home papers sent to me from the lovely folks at Jones Crafts.

There are so many great images to cut from these papers that I extended the accordion card to accomodate four panels with each one having its own little scene.

The base card is cut using a Karen Burniston 'Katie Label' Accordion die.
Anyway, hope you like it! I'd like to enter it into the following challenge:

Beautiful Birdhouse

Hi All!
Back with my second post of the day!! This time with an altered project I made using the fabulous Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home papers sent to me from the lovely Jones Crafts.

I bought this birdhouse clock in the sale. It was a bit knocked about and worse for wear, but the simple white base and black nobbles in place of numbers seemed perfect for altering, so this is what I came up with.

I hope you like it - I had loads of fun changing it into a Home Sweet Home for the little blackbird pendulum! lol!

Many thanks for popping by. Will be back soon with some more of my makes.
In the meantime, I'd like to enter this into the Simon Says Monday Challenge which is 'B is for...' - in my case 'Birdhouse'.

Best wishes
