Pop Up Seahorses

Hi Everyone!
Its all a bit hectic here as we prepare to move house next week but I just thought I'd show you this little pop up card I made. The sea horse images (Joanna Sheen Tales of the Ocean) were simply stamped onto little panels, the edges inked and layered up onto mirri and coloured card. I then took a DL card and punched a border with a Martha Stewart punch, added a turquoise card background and torn strip of designer paper (DCWV Spring paper) on which to layer my little panels. I then made some pop up sections inside the card and similar stamped panels inside which pop up when the card is opened. Simple but effective. I hope to enter this card into the Crafty Creations and Simon Says Stamp and Show 'Anything Goes' challenges, the ABC Challenge which, this week, is to 'Show something Underneath' and Creative Inspirations 'Decorate Inside Your Card' challenge.
Many thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of the weekend!
Best wishes

Love Is... Hedgie

Afternoon Everyone!
This afternoon I whipped out my Martha Stewart punches to see what I could create and decided to make a Punch Around the Page card using the 'Cherish' design and turn it into a fancy easel card. I know Valentine's Day is all about Hearts and Flowers but the men in our lives don't necessarily appreciate the flowers bit so this is my attempt at a man's Valentine card using vintage, toned down colours. I know its still cutesy but you can't help but love the Penny Black Hedgies and they're great to use with your Pro markers!!! The inside greetings stamp was one from a versatile set by Personal Impressions where you stamp the sentiment and the circle border seperately. The 'Love Is' sentiment was typed on the computer and the red and cream stripy paper was from Dovecraft.
I hope you like it and plan to enter it into the Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is 'Love is', Oldie But a Goodie - 'Have a Heart' challenge - which is also the theme of Papertake Weekly - and A Passion for Promarkers which is 'Let there be love'.
Anyway,best be off.
Bye for now
